Presentation at SW Geotech Conference – Phoenix 2017

Since 2009 Naresh has been involved with the development of calibration procedures for AASHTO LRFD service limit state for foundation deformations. The work was performed as part of Project R19B of SHRP2. Subsequently, Naresh co-authored a manual for AASHTO and FHWA titled "Incorporation of Foundations Deformations in AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Process." Naresh has been retained by AASHTO and FHWA through a contract with CH2M Hill to deliver presentations and training courses nationwide. As part of this contract, Naresh delivered a presentation on May 3, 2017, at the 42nd Annual Southwest Geotechnical Engineers Conferences in Phoenix, AZ. Example of Affinity Chart for Quality Function Deployment (QFD) System of Asset Management

NCSG has helped local and state agencies develop a practical asset management program where in-service facilities are rated in terms of observed distress and two priority ranking systems for maintenance and repair is developed. These two prioritization systems are based on the “normalized raw score” (NRS) method and the “quality function deployment” (QFD) method.
