This presentation will be made for the Arizona Chapter of American Public Works Association (APWA) at its May 2022 monthly meeting.
The presentation will introduce three recent developments in geotechnical engineering that provide significant value to transportation infrastructure projects. These include:
(1) Infiltration evaluation for deep foundations in ephemeral streams
(2) Evaluation of subgrade stresses due to wheel loads on rigid pavements
(3) MSE-LASR technology.
